Bragerr connects to your Shopify store and runs an initial sync to read your store data. This usually takes a few minutes. Once complete, it starts analyzing your store and surfacing opportunities. You don't need to set anything up — it starts working immediately.

No. Bragerr runs entirely in the background on its own servers. It reads data from Shopify's API — it never touches your storefront, theme, or customer-facing pages.

None. Bragerr is designed for store owners, not developers. Everything is explained in plain English. If Bragerr finds something, it tells you what it means and what to do about it.

Bragerr reads your products, orders, inventory, discounts, and basic customer information (purchase history and marketing preferences — not names or contact details). It never reads payment information, credit card data, or personal customer details beyond what is needed to analyze purchasing patterns.

No. Bragerr never stores customer names or raw email addresses. Email addresses are converted to an irreversible code (a SHA-256 hash) before being stored — this lets Bragerr identify patterns without storing personal data.

Yes. Bragerr implements all required Shopify GDPR webhooks — customer data requests, customer data deletion, and shop data deletion are all handled automatically. Brian Koplick is the registered Privacy Officer and Data Protection Officer. Full details are at bragerr.com/privacy.

Your store data is stored on Railway (PostgreSQL database) and Upstash (Redis cache), both hosted in secure cloud environments. Bragerr never shares your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Yes. Uninstalling Bragerr from your Shopify store triggers automatic data deletion within 30 days, per Shopify's requirements. You can also contact support@bragerr.com to request immediate deletion.

Bragerr uses AI in two ways. First, to explain findings in plain English — when Bragerr finds a potential stockout risk or discount issue, AI writes the explanation you see. Second, to generate content suggestions like SEO descriptions. The underlying analysis (what to flag and why) uses deterministic rules, not AI guesswork.

Every finding comes with a confidence score. Bragerr only reports things it can support with evidence from your actual store data. When data is thin or incomplete, Bragerr says so rather than inventing an answer. The confidence score reflects how much evidence supports the finding.

The financial figures Bragerr shows (like estimated opportunity value) are estimates based on your store’s real data — sales velocity, margins, and order patterns. They are meant to help you prioritize, not to be taken as precise predictions. Bragerr uses the phrase "roughly $X" to signal when a figure is an estimate.

Only if you approve it. Bragerr identifies opportunities and recommends actions, but every change requires your review and approval before anything happens. On supported plans, AI Agents can run automatically — but they still follow the limits and permissions you set. You stay in control.

The Opportunity Center is where Bragerr collects everything it has found in your store — profit issues, inventory risks, SEO gaps, and more. Each opportunity is ranked by estimated impact so you can focus on what matters most first.

It analyzes your discounts and order economics to find margin leaks — things like discount codes being used too broadly, single codes generating too much dependency, or products being sold at margins that may not be sustainable.

It compares your sales velocity with your current stock levels to flag products that may run out before you can reorder. It also flags products that have stopped selling and may be tying up working capital.

It checks every product and collection for missing SEO titles, descriptions, and image alt text. When it finds gaps, it can generate grounded SEO copy based on your actual product data — never invented claims. It does not promise higher rankings, because Bragerr cannot control how Google ranks pages.

Ask Bragerr lets you ask plain English questions about your store. "Why are my sales down this week?" "Which products are making me the least money?" Bragerr answers using your real store data — not generic ecommerce advice.

AI Agents are automated monitors that run on a schedule. The Profit Agent watches for margin leaks. The Inventory Agent watches for stockout risks. The Store Health Agent monitors your store's overall health. They run in the background and surface new opportunities automatically. Available on Growth and Pro plans.

Some opportunities include a "Let Bragerr fix it" option. When you click this, Bragerr shows you exactly what it plans to change and asks for your approval before doing anything. Supported actions include SEO updates and other catalog improvements. Every action can be rolled back.

On Starter plans and above, Bragerr sends you a weekly email summarizing what it found in your store that week — health score, top opportunities, and what changed. You can enable or disable this in Settings.

Yes. The Free plan gives you 5 AI questions per month and full access to store health and opportunity detection. It is a genuine working plan, not a locked trial. No credit card required to install.

If you have a payment method on file with Shopify, your plan continues and you are charged the monthly fee. If you don't, your plan reverts to Free. You will receive an email from Shopify before the trial ends.

Question packs are one-time top-ups for AI questions. If you run out of your monthly allowance before the reset, you can buy a pack (50, 150, or 400 questions) rather than upgrading your whole plan. Packs are available on Starter and Growth plans and expire after 90 days.

Yes. You can cancel your plan at any time from the Billing page inside Bragerr. Your plan reverts to Free at the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees.

Yes. All billing goes through Shopify's native billing system — the same system used for all Shopify apps. You never enter payment details directly into Bragerr.
